We’re huge fans of the iconic British brand Goat Fashion run by Creative Director, Jane Lewis.
Originally famous for its incredible cashmere (a perfect Christmas warmer), the brand now offers simple silhouettes and classic pieces - perfect for the winter season ahead.
We spoke with Jane (the force behind Goat) to find out what it’s like running a super-chic brand and her plans for the festive holidays…
What’s the story behind Goat Fashion, how/why did you start up?
To create stylish beautifully cut clothes that were timeless and versatile. I started out because could not find clothes I liked to wear.
What is your typical day like in the lead up to Christmas?
The office is pretty manic at this time of year – we have a lot of deadlines to meet with our sample collections and production runs.
Lots of meetings, lunches and a multitude of school plays and concerts to squeeze in also…..
What is your most treasured item?
I don’t treasure one item alone. I treasure my children.
Which piece will you be 'cosying up in over the festive holidays?
We will be spending Christmas in Sussex with lots of family so I always make sure I pack my Saskia knit coat for layering, a few sunny cable crew necks to wear with jeans and lots of fine gauge knits make my holiday wardrobe.
How do you relax at the end of a busy day?
When all is said and done, kids tucked up in bed – a really hot (and relaxing) bath. It’s my favourite thing ever.
What is your all-time favourite Neom scent and why?
I love Tranquillity (who doesn’t) lavender, sweet basil and jasmine. So fresh and gorgeous!
Which Christmas scent from Neom is your fav?
Harmonise with pine, cedarwood and eucalyptus.
Do you have any festive family traditions?
In recent years we have tried our hand at a huge jigsaw puzzle (1000 plus pieces). Last year we completed it in one night save for the last piece. We searched everywhere… a year later my brother found the missing piece in his shoe. We will be wearing just socks this year!
