Welcome to our Limited Edition Christmas Range

How we came up with our three festive fragrances: Comforting, Harmonise and Christmas Wish

This year we’ve come up with more festive products than any previous Christmas period with a never-before-smelt fragrance blend, Comforting and 12 new products to choose from.

Neom’s in-house Product Development Manager Paul Salem was there every step of the way and says, “This year we started work on Christmas as soon as we came back in January, although we had discussed the products prior to Christmas too.” He oversaw the design of the exquisite bronze, gold and silver packaging and worked with our fragrance house to source the natural essential oils, blend them and choose the perfect, mood-enhancing mix for the Candles and Reed Diffusers.

He says, “We’ve already started on Christmas 2014 and we haven’t even celebrated this one!”

Since 2007 we’ve been supporting the Make-a-Wish-Foundation®, donating £1 from the sale of every Home Candle and Reed Diffuser in our Christmas Wish scent to the children’s charity. For this we wanted to evoke the welcoming scent of a freshly baked Christmas cake with mandarin, cinnamon and tonka bean essential oils. Neom Co-founder Nicola Elliott says, “The oils all work to uplift your mood in that really comforting familiar way.” Nicole Scherzinger is a fan, “Yummy Christmas Wish Candle, my dressing room now smells like the holidays.”

First created in autumn last year, Harmonise has been re-packaged in Limited Edition silver glass for Christmas 2013. Nicola says, “Harmonise isn't a traditional scent, it's fresher with pine, cedar and eucalyptus. It's full of green and silver notes and it just really fits with the clean, fresh silver container.” Fashion designer Matthew Williamson is a fan and says, “I love this Harmonise scent – it’s crisp, warming and clears my head. In the design studio, in the lead up to Christmas, it’s like working in a pine forest!”

As the name suggests, we wanted Comforting to evoke feelings of being cosy beside a crackling log fire. “I've wanted to work on a rich, woody scent for a while now, Christmas was the perfect time,” Nicola says. The cedarwood, vetiver and star anise essential oils combine for a spicy scent which is deeply calming and tension-relieving. Caroline Flack is a fan, “I love the Comforting Candle, it’s got that slightly smoky, log-fire scent that makes me feel really festive and warm.”
