We Answer Your Most Asked Pod Mini Questions

What’s The Difference Between The Mini, The Original Pod and The Pod Luxe?
Unlike our other two Pods, the Mini is wireless meaning it’s ideal for moving around your home without the need for it to be near a socket. It’s also waterless, so instead of dropping the oil into the water tank, you screw in your favourite NEOM Oil Blend jar. You can read more on this further down…
Where Can I Use It?
Our Pod Mini was cleverly created with small spaces in mind so we’d say it’s best suited to rooms such as your home office or guest bathroom, unlike our larger two Pods which have a much bigger reach. As it’s wireless and runs on a rechargeable battery, you can even take it with you on trips away from home or even in your car.
So, It’s Safe To Use In The Car?
Yes, it’s entirely safe to use in your car. We just ask you to only change and adjust the settings before you set off and never whilst driving. Do also ensure the Pod is kept secure in a cup holder so it stays upright and refrain from using any of our sleepy scents. Instead, we love Focus The Mind or Happiness for making long journeys or your daily commute more enjoyable.
How Does It Work Without Water?
The Mini uses nebulising or atomising technology and is not ultrasonic like our Original Pod. There’s no need for dilution in water as the air pressure in the nozzle draws up the essential oil and breaks it into tiny particles that are diffused into the air neat.
What’s The Tool In The Box For?
The black oil dropper remover tool is for modifying your Oil Blend jar so it screws directly into the Pod Mini. If you misplace your remover oil, get in touch with us and we can order a replacement one for you with no charge.
Do I Need To Clean It?
The short answer? No! As there’s no water, there’s no tank to clean. To keep your Mini in good condition, we do suggest disconnecting from any power source and cleaning the nozzle with a soft cloth. You can also fill an empty jar with medicinal alcohol and run the diffuser for an hour or two to keep it function its best.
Use a natural medical grade alcohol, sometimes also called ‘rubbing alcohol’. Rubbing alcohol is either isopropyl alcohol or ethanol-based liquids, or the comparable British Pharmacopoeia defined surgical spirit, with isopropyl alcohol products being the most widely available.
How Long Does It Take To Fully Charge?
It takes around 2-3 hours to charge to 100%. You will then get around 50 hours of usage time. If it’s your first time charging, leave it to charge for around 6 hours.
Can I Use Any USB Cable?
Is It Safe To Use Around Pets?
Although our products contain 100% natural fragrance, it’s tricky for us to advice what effect these will have on your pets since we’ve not tested any of our products on animals. We would recommend seeking professional advice from your vet before using a new product around your home.
Can It Be Used Around Children?
Our founder, Nicola carefully designed each of our fragrances with children in mind so the Wellbeing Pods could be enjoyed by the whole family. Some ingredients can cause people to react differently to others so always consult your doctor or a medical professional.
Can I Use Other Brands Of Essential Oils?
We have not tested essential oils other than our own so we would therefore not advise this. The Pod Mini has also been designed to suit our bottle so others may not fit. Corrosive oils such as citronella and other brands may also cause damage which would not be covered by your warranty.
Can I Mix Water And Oil To Make Them Last Longer?
Please don’t mix them. The Pod Mini has been designed to be waterless so will therefore not work.
Does It Humidify Air Like The Original Pod?
No, it doesn’t since the Mini is completely waterless.
Does It Have A Light Setting?
Unlike the Pod and Pod Luxe, the Mini doesn’t have any light settings.
How Loud Is The Pod Mini?
As it’s a nebulizer, there is a slight motor noise each time the fragrance is released as it’s working hard to scent your space. You can set this to 15 seconds, 30 seconds or 1 minute.
What Are The Timer Settings?
Setting 1 is on for 15 seconds, off for 2 minutes 45 seconds.
Setting 2 is on for 30 seconds, off for 2 minutes.
Setting 3 is on for 1 minute, off for 2.
