COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR

From the strong foundation we have set, and the 8-figure turnover we’ve created, we’re looking to more than triple the size of the business over the next 4 years with a focus on retail stores & concessions, major wholesale customers and international opportunities and we’re looking to recruit a talented Commercial Director to help spread our wellbeing message far and wide and ultimately drive our ambitious growth plans. The individual we are looking for will have a true passion for selling brands rather than products, lifestyle over bottles, dreams over creams!


The Role:

Reporting to the CEO, the Commercial Director will be responsible for driving retail and wholesale expansion across all territories.


Direct reports would include Head of Retail, UK & International Sales Manager (Major Customers / Online Wholesale / Distributors) and National Sales Manager (Independent Retailers / Salon / Spa).


Key elements of the role

▪ Agree the retail and wholesale growth strategy with the CEO across all channels

▪ Ensure the strategy is implemented, guiding teams as appropriate

▪ Evaluate new opportunities on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to the CEO

▪ Agree financial targets (sales and profits) for the financial year and the longer term financial plan in conjunction with the finance team

▪ Drive sales and profits to hit agreed budgets across all channels and territories, leading the team to deliver with specific focus on:

▫ UK Retail – work with the Head of Retail to efficiently run the UK store & concession network, open new stores & concessions as detailed in retail strategy, and ensure all stores & concessions are managed in line with overall NEOM best practice

▫ UK Wholesale – work with the UK & International Sales Manager and National Sales Manager to drive profitable growth through our wholesale customers with a particular emphasis on department store customers. Act as an escalation and communication point for senior wholesale accounts where necessary

▫ International – work with our three existing distributors to drive profitable growth in these territories and explore new ways of expanding overseas

▪ Hire, train and develop a world class team to deliver the above, with a focus on:

▫ Sharing best practice across all channels/territories

▫ Consistent brand and operational training

▫ Identifying commercial and process improvements

▪ Working in collaboration with the Marketing Director devise and implement the marketing activation plans across all locations

▪ Oversee Visual Merchandising implementation across all regions, coordinating with the relevant members of the marketing team


The Candidate:

LEAD DESIGNER


Neom Organics London has an excellent opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated Lead Designer. Working primarily within the ecommerce team on all things digital this role will also be key in leading the creative direction for key marketing campaigns across all channels. This is an amazing opportunity to come and work with a trail blazing brand who are on a mission to inspire people to live a naturally healthy life in all that we do.


We are looking for one talented individual who has a high level of expertise to deliver stunning and disruptive creative design that not only meets the brief but exceeds it! This role only applies to those individuals that are truly passionate about making a difference in the creative world from being able to take a creative vision and bring it to life to being the creative vision for the campaigns.


Working directly for the Ecommerce Manager you will also work closely with both the Marketing and Creative Director, your projects will be varied and may include: conceptual ideation, brand design and execution, campaign development, printed collateral, advertising, social media assets. This is a hands-on design & technical role which no two days are the same!

THE REQUIREMENTS

You will need to be able to hit the ground running, thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to work to tight deadlines.

▪ Design and develop web pages, banners, emails, landing pages and social media assets

▪ Creative campaigns across all platforms which drive excitement and engage with brand messaging.

▪ Research and develop new templates to keep the site and emails looking fresh

▪ Art direct on photo shoots for products, still life and video, ensuring our visuals are on-brand, diverse, contemporary and desirable within agreed budgets

▪ Design campaign-led digital creative from concept stages through to delivery, across multiple platforms

▪ Manage, mentor and develop our Digital Designer and work closely with our remote/freelance designers.

▪ Designing alongside developers, front- and back-end.


EXPERIENCE

▪ You'll be a mid to senior level designer, with at least 3-5 years experience

▪ You must be a super talented, ideas driven conceptual designer with lots of creative flair, delivering exquisite digital thinking and design execution.

▪ Experience in Designing responsive websites

▪ Have an exceptional portfolio showcasing high-end designed work across multiple platforms from brand, identity, through to desktop, mobile and tablet

▪ Experience designing cross-platform - understanding the specifics of designing for Desktop, Mobile and Tablets

▪ Confident in creating design concepts, from quick visual mock ups to polished designs

▪ Awareness of good contemporary digital design & pixel perfection

▪ Proficient knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (experts in Photoshop )

ECOMMERCE EXECUTIVE

Neom Organics London was founded in 2005 by Nicola Elliott and Oliver Mennell. After spending seven hectic years as an editor at Glamour magazine, Nicola noticed her own wellbeing, and that of her close friends, was affected by the stress and demands of modern life. She quit journalism to train as an aromatherapist and nutritionist before founding Neom with former investment analyst Oliver Mennell, to focus on improving people’s wellbeing through home fragrances and skincare.

The Role

This is an incredibly exciting time here at Neom with an excellent track record for growth in our Ecommerce channel, we are looking to expand further. The newly created role of Ecommerce Executive would give you an interesting and varied role that encompasses a wide range of digital activities and skillsets


We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a passion for all things digital who is looking to expand their Ecommerce knowledge

You will need to be able to hit the ground running, thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to work to tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

▪ To provide support across the Ecommerce team

▪ Support on Ecommerce web development projects

▪ Product merchandising on the website including creating and maintaining categories & product pages, managing upsells & recommendations

▪ Building email work flows, sourcing images and copy

▪ Support on optimising PPC and Google Business Listings

▪ Managing stock forecasts, requests and confirmation of stock delivery

▪ Campaign reporting and data queries, pulling out insights to make a meaningful impact on performance

▪ Competitive monitoring and reviews, pulling together recommendations

▪ Building slides for campaign proposals and autopsies identifying key learnings and insights

▪ Track and analyse website traffic flow using HotJar and provide regular internal reports

▪ Support on SEO – adding copy to the website, adding redirects etc


What you'll need

▪ 3+ years digital marketing experience

▪ Numerical and data analysis skills, with the ability to provide actionable recommendations.

▪ Strong writing skills for creating engaging online adverts.

▪ Demonstrable passion for all things digital - keeping abreast of key industry trends and a hunger for innovation.

▪ Meticulous attention to detail.

▪ Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite with advanced knowledge of Excel.

▪ Experience using Magento or similar website platforms

▪ Knowledge of coding and experience with AdWords would be desirable but not essential.

PACKAGING ARTWORKER

We are looking for an enthusiastic and competent full time Packaging Artworker to be part of the product development and marketing team, based in Harrogate.


ROLE / JOB SUMMARY

We require a skilled, Artworker to primarily work on packaging within the product development team but also with an opportunity to work across other areas within the business; brochures, point of sale, events collateral, presentation decks etc. You’ll already have a good knowledge of design principles and will be able to work to brand guidelines and specific briefs, ensuring that deadlines are being met and that the product development team are updated of project progress along the way.

To be successful you’ll need to be super organised and have the ability to jump between projects as necessary. You’ll be an expert with Adobe Creative Suite including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop. You’ll have a keen eye for detail when it comes to type-setting, layout, spelling and grammar. You will create print ready artwork files following brand guidelines and artwork briefs. You will have a demonstrable ability to understand and execute instructions, manage own workload and keep to deadlines.


RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES

▪ Taking packaging projects from initial concept through to layout, final artwork, proof checking and approval.

▪ Supply printers with print ready files.

▪ Check digital artwork proofs and ensure they are produced exactly to the brief supplied.

▪ Liaise with external parties such as printers and packaging suppliers on artwork related queries.

▪ You will be required to work closely with and liaise with our offsite designer.

▪ Artworking across different cutters guides, ensuring consistency of design across the range.

▪ Retouching, typesetting, cutter guide construction

▪ Create print ready artwork, in-house mock ups and other design visuals.

▪ Proofreading artwork files pre-production.


DESIRED SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

▪ Fully competent in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat.

▪ Ability to take creative concepts and translate them into high quality accurate print ready artwork.

▪ Understand basics of printing (CMYK, line screens, spot colours etc.) as well as typesetting and formatting, good knowledge of print formats and finishing.

▪ Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for spelling and grammar.

▪ Ability to multi-task and consistently hit deadlines.

▪ Self-motivated, driven and passionate about detail.

▪ Experience of working in a fast paced environment.

▪ A passion for quality to ensure that high standards are achieved and maintained.

▪ Methodical approach to saving and archiving artwork.

▪ Excellent time management and organisational skills with the ability to be flexible.

▪ Adaptable artworking skills for POS display and general artworks, mailers, brochures etc.
