Nicola's Christmas Wish
Are you done yet? I’m not. Despite my best intentions (and a good start during the Black Friday weekend)
I got caught up with parties and turkey ordering somewhere last week. Oh well, who cares? I’ll snap up a few bits online on the 21st and steer my thoughts to the true meaning of Xmas. Wellbeing for me and my family.
A time to press pause, live in the moment and reassess what’s important for now, and the year ahead. In this crazy world I take comfort from the fact that I can control the little things and you know what? They are actually the big things.
If you didn’t catch my ‘Lazy Girls guide to Christmas’ blog post I’ll give you a few more tips I’ve picked up along the way from chilled out friends I admire…
- Send Ecards
The designs are cooler than ever, they are kinder on the environment. Now totally socially acceptable and far less hassle (if you also give a tenner to charity).
- Night in with yourself
Switch out one of my drink dates for a night in with myself, my PJs, a dozen books I have on the go, and Perfect Night Sleep bath drops.
Make a promise to not just shop, drink and eat. I’m taking time each day to look after myself… walks, healthy soups & casseroles, meditate.
Christmas is the best time ever for wellbeing….Use the time to rest, recover and replenish. I promise that small steps each day, add up to a big difference.
